Ground Fix now have more presence in the South Island, based in Sydenham Christchurch to service the South Island and lower North Island. Gareth Hallam will be in Nelson Wednesday 9th to provide a presentation of Ground Fix’s capabilities and recent projects.
Along with anchoring, soil nails, micropiling etc , GroundFix have a restricted access piling rig that has recently been in action on both islands installing bored piles, ranging from UC retaining walls, in ground palisade walls, and reinforced concrete piled walls. These have been installed to a depth of 10m BEGL in a 600mm diameter hole with a wide range of ground conditions, (including glacial moraine boulders, siltstone, East Coast bays, and clay).GroundFix have equipped their rig with Australian tooling to allow them to pick up boulders, drill through rock, a cleaning bucket and a conventional progressive rock augers. GroundFix have acted as both principal contractor (for Kiwirail, residential and commercial clients) and in the subcontractor space with HEB and FH on the Manawatu scheme, Auckland region schemes, NRU Tunnels etc.
