The New Zealand Geotechnical Society (NZGS), in cooperation with Civil Engineering Testing Association (CETANZ), proudly present a full-day seminar on Cone Penetration Testing

(CPT). The objective of the seminar is to familiarise the participant with the CPT in the widest sense, from the equipment, the theory behind the test and the use in geotechnical practice,

to the data obtained.

 

The seminar is presented by Geomil Equipment. Geomil is the world’s first manufacturer of CPT equipment and for over 80 years they have been supplying the geotechnical industry

from their base near Gouda, the Netherlands. The presenter Ernst Wassenaar, started working in the CPT industry in 1991 for Conewel B.V., a small manufacturer of CPT electronics that in 1996 merged with the Gouda Machine Factory to become Geomil Equipment B.V. In his current role, Ernst acts as Regional Manager for Geomil Asia-Pacific.

 

The seminar will be presented Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in the following dates:

AUCKLAND: Tuesday 12 November 2019.

WELLINGTON: Wednesday 13 November 2019.

CHRISTCHURCH: Thursday 14 November 2019.

 

The cost of the seminar is $280+GST for NZGS and CETANZ members and $650+GST for non- NZGS, non-CETANZ members.
