Experienced Geotechnical Engineer – Christchurch City Council

We are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with experience in design and construction supervision to join our team of engineering professionals. Knowledge of the geotechnical hazards affecting the greater Christchurch area would be ideal and New Zealand based experience is essential. Working knowledge of legislation relating to New Zealand building control is desirable, although further training will be provided.

Using your excellent communication and technical expertise, you will provide expert advice and guidance on the geotechnical aspects of building and resource consent applications to designers, applicants and internal processing staff.
