Performance, Design and Management of Slopes for Resilience in Earthquakes

Content:  The short course will cover the performance of embankments, cut slopes and natural slopes affecting the built environment, assessment of slope hazards, key considerations in the design and management of slopes to enhance resilience in earthquakes.  The recommendations for practice will be illustrated through case studies of practical application.
