In 2022, NZGS with support from NHC began developing a series of Slope Stability Guidance (SSG) documents for use in New Zealand. Unit 1 – General Guidance is intended as an overarching document, supported by a series of additional units covering specific technical topics (Unit 2 – 7), which are currently in development. Big thanks to Richard Justice for leading the SSG Units development. NZGS will continue to support and encourage the SSG team to deliver the final version of the guidelines.
