Applications are now open for the NZGS Young Geotechnical Professionals (YGP) Representative. This is a great opportunity to get involved with and contribute to the NZGS, as well as interacting with the wider NZ geotechnical community.

Young Professionals are those members of the NZGS aged 35 and under. They represent a lively, increasingly influential, and rapidly growing section of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists nationally. These young professionals are the ones who will lead and shape the future of geotechnical engineering and engineering geology in New Zealand, in years to come. All young professionals, students and graduates are encouraged to take part in activities the NZGS run as it is never too early to start thinking about your future career.

The YGP representative is co-opted to the NZGS national management committee.

See the NZGS Young Geotechnical Professionals Representative Role Description for more details.

To apply, send your CV and a covering letter to ygp@nzgs.org. Applications close on Monday August 24th
