SUMMARY:Bridge & Geotechnical Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:24-25 Aug 2025 – Auckland\, NZICC \nWe are excited to welcome you to the inaugural Bridge and Geotechnical Conference 2026 at the NZICC in Auckland\, New Zealand. This event builds on the successful 2024 conference hosted by NZTA in Hamilton. We are proud to continue its momentum. The NZ Bridge Engineering Technical Society (BETS) was established in 2024 as a Technical Interest Group under Engineering New Zealand with a vision of Enhancing Bridge Engineering in New Zealand. We represent a diverse community of professionals involved in bridge engineering — including design\, construction\, asset management\, training and research. Recognising the close relationship between bridge and geotechnical engineering\, we are pleased to co-host this event with the New Zealand Geotechnical Society (NZGS). This conference is designed to be a national platform for sharing knowledge\, showcasing innovation\, and fostering collaboration. Whether you are a consultant\, constructor or client\, you will find value in the technical sessions\, networking opportunities\, and exposure to emerging technologies. The program will address practical challenges and strategic priorities — from seismic resilience and sustainability to doing more with less in asset management and new design. Bridges and associated soil structures are vital connectors between communities\, and their performance depends on strong partnerships across disciplines. We aim to bring together clients\, designers and contractors to explore how we can maintain and deliver functional\, resilient and cost-effective infrastructure that enhances the environments we live and work in. We are thrilled to have secured internationally recognised keynote speakers\, alongside leading experts from New Zealand and Australia. Their insights will set the tone for the two days of engaging discussion and learning. \nVisit the website
