Geotechnical engineers, structural engineers and their associates are invited to a site visit at Te Kaha Stadium. Speakers from CLL and Tonkin + Taylor will discuss the project and challenges encountered from ground improvements undertaken.
Afterwards, we will watch the instillation of a rammed aggregate pier. A sausage sizzle will be held after the site visit.
Please meet at the Christchurch Cardboard Cathedral or (Christchurch Transitional Cathedral). We will assemble here and proceed to site from this point. Please arrive by 4:20 pm. The site visit starts at promptly by 4.30pm.
*Please note the event is limited to 30 people in attendance. The following PPE will be required: Steel capped boots, long pants, long top with high vis, safety glasses and a hard hat.
