Notice for the AGM of NZGS

Dear NZGS Members,


Please find attached the Notice for the Annual General Meeting of NZGS to held on 2nd March 2010 at the University of Auckland in Room 401.401 (Lecture Theatre on ground floor beside main entrance to Engineering School).

The AGM will be followed by an Auckland Branch Presentation:
Nick Wharmby of Brian Perry Civil presenting “Recent developments in NZ piling and foundation construction”.


The presentation will be focussed around secant piling, diaphragm walling and CFA piling construction methodologies using case studies to highlight:
1. Practical and technical challenges
2. Test results and performance
3. Design detailing issues for contractor
4. Suitability and expectations
