9th ANZ Young Geotechnical Professionals Conference
The 9th ANZ Young Geotechnical Professionals Conference (9YGPC) will be in Melbourne from 11-14th July 2012. The 9YGPC is for geotechnical professionals from Australia and New Zealand 35 years old and younger with a maximum of ten years experience.
The EQC and NZGS have consistently supported our YGP members with financial sponsorship to attend these events. A total sum of $10,000 will be distributed amongst delegates to contribute to towards expenses associated with attending the conference. The recipients will be decided on the basis of submitted abstracts and a short CV; the decision will be based on merit and circumstances.
Please complete the nomination form when submitting your abstract. Nominations of delegates must be supported by a senior mentor and include an abstract of 200 words on a topic that is related to geotechnical practice or research and a short form CV.
Positions are limited as all successful nominations will be expected to present their technical paper at the conference.
